DMA_179_SkateBoard

Well, at 1st I start drawing a picture of a girl, took me a while to make an decent drawing. It was completed while our group was doing audio project.
Ignore the left one, the right one is the one i am using. Most of time, my drawing are bad, but at least the right side one makes a little bit sense (to me).

Then I used the project that I have done for my DMA101. another girl also alone with other elements that is created in photoshop.

 

Then Model

I would be like, this girl is about take some action, thus put her feet in action mode, also an arrow in front of her eye which is not very clear, but, it would be like, looking straight forward and about to make some action with a firy background.

At first, I didn't think I was going to make it, but after complete the 1st step, it's not that hard at all.
For overall, it was a fun experience.

Here is my process of making it :D enjoy.
1. I create a skeleton.

2. Tin paper it. Like our muscles. so our clay goes on it.

3.Then put up with clays. This part is a bit annoying, cause clay seem keep having this spaces between each other. I had to mode it.

 4.FIRE IN THE HOLE!

5. After Cooking for 15mins, under 200c degree. It's burning hot, even though I've waited for 5mins. It's a bit burnt. :/

6. Then after painting....It looks weird -__-lll

Art Reserach

For my artist I am doing Madreal ( aka Derrick Hodgson ).

At first, I have no idea what kind of art it is.
However, after a few observation. It is a kind of simple and none complex art.
Noticed how each characters have no arms, while you can pretty much tell where the character is coming from which animals. Sometimes a combination of 2 or more animals.

Then this is my attempt for creating the same style of art.

Color

Notice how in color version, there are a lot of dots in the background.
Not just small dots, but vary in sizes.
I assume circle is round, which doesn't have a sense of sharpness or offensive meaning.
Circle may present kind, loving, no harm, and harmony.
